Inversion aversion? Our Aerial Inversion Workshop will provide inversion therapy. Going upside-down builds confidence; reduces stress; increases vitality, strength, flexibility & circulation; creates space in the spine; challenges & improves balance & coordination; promotes inner calm & peace. When you add a purple hammock playfulness, exploration & fun abounds; the impossible becomes possible and your dreams of handstands in the middle of the room becomes a reality.
This workshop will include a vinyasa style flow working on balance, arm strength and core before we take flight. Using the support of the hammock at the hips will allow students to decompress, de-stress and benefit from going upside-down without overworking the shoulders and the neck. Starting will preparatory poses we will work on headstand, forearm-stand, handstand and inverted backbends. With a little help from a purple hammock you can fly through the air with the greatest of ease.
*This workshop is not for you if you are pregnant, suffer from vertigo or have an inner ear infection, are on anti-coaglulants, have glaucoma or a detached retina, have a hiatal or ventral hernia. Inversions may aggravate herniated or bulging discs.
