Ayurveda is an ancient healing practice from India. Ayurveda in Sanskrit translates as “the wisdom or knowledge of life”.
Ayurveda emphasizes the importance of creating and maintaining positive and sustainable good health and on preventing the imbalances that lead to disease. It offers natural ways to promote health by considering the uniqueness of the individual and their body constitutions, called The Doshas.
In this workshop, we will learn to incorporate the ancient wisdom of Ayurveda into our modern day lifestyles. Learn about your specific Dosha and how to navigate through the seasonal changes, transitions and the stress of everyday life. Ayurveda with its sister science Yoga, offer tools to enhance our well being and optimal health. These include: pranayama, yoga routines for your dosha and the seasons, dietary and lifestyle changes, along with daily and nightly routines to enhance energy and rest.
