Do you ever wonder why some people seem to effortlessly balance a handstand, headstand or any arm balance?
It can be frustrating to miss out on the massive benefits of inversions in your yoga practice, especially when a teacher “gives everyone the option to take your inversion or arm balance” but without really giving an understanding of how to get into the pose.
It’s time to master your body from the hands to your feet, and finally get the proper step-by-step instruction you deserve in order to feel safe and confident while you effortlessly fly in your arm balances, and find stillness in your inversions!
Establish awareness and strength of the key muscles that support your balance in postures like crow, handstand, or koundenyasana 2.
You will be given exercises to implement throughout your asana practice in order to build mastery within the training and continue to build strength and awareness long after. You will learn safe and effective ways to practice and spot others in handstand.
You will learn both the anatomy of the shoulder girdle and how to apply the knowledge you gain to the major postures of yoga including downdog, plank, chaturanga, and all arm balances. You will learn how to avoid shoulder impingement as well as the myths of “correct alignment”.
