KAIA YOGA - Rincon Puerto Rico with Lexy Tomaino and Lisa Giordano
Yoga, surfing, sunsets, and YOU — that's what the first annual Rincón Kaia Yoga Retreat is all about!
Rincón is a place where you will enjoy laid-back vibes, beautiful beaches, and fresh, delicious food. Known as the "town of beautiful sunsets," Rincón is located on the westernmost tip of Puerto Rico, and takes pride in the most breathtaking twilight on the island. During our February dates, you might also spot migrating whales along its shores. Experienced and beginner surfers alike congregate in Rincon to catch waves at secluded, pristine beaches with shallow water, also perfect for snorkeling amongst brightly colored coral and a wide-array of marine species.
Rincón has changed the lives of many who have ventured into this lush, secluded natural wonderland. Leave the Fairfield county winter chapped lips and unmet Valentine’s expectations behind, and join us as we unplug and open our hearts to adventure and new experiences. And yoga. Lots and lots of ecstatic Kaia method yoga with two beloved senior teachers. Warning: epiphanies will happen, in the most unexpected of ways!
Kaia Yoga will take over a villa located 200 yards from the beach. We will share a delicious brunch and dinner in the villa as well as at local restaurant destinations. There is even a food truck festival hitting Rincon while we are there that we plan to hit!

About Lisa: Lisa has been practicing yoga for over 17 years after being introduced to it by a family member. Her dedication to her practice and her desire to learn more led her to complete her 500 hr teacher training, and then on to complete Yin Yoga trainings, Aerial Yoga trainings and Paddleboard Yoga training. Most recently she has become part of the Mentorship program for new teachers at Kaia Yoga. Classes focus on a gentle approach of calming breathing techniques, mind body awareness, alignment and strength. Lisa will lead you through a mindful yet vigorous practice of arm balances and inversions helping to build confidence, endurance and flexibility. “Yoga has changed my life and I wanted to share my love of yoga with others”.
About Lexy: Lexy has taught, breathed, and loved the Kaia Yoga method for almost a decade. She believes if you hear the call of a retreat, you must pick up the phone (and leave your smart phone behind) to take advantage of the dedicated time and space a retreat affords to deepen your asana practice through precise physical movement classes as well as to cultivate more joy in your life though mediation and new, uplifting experiences.
Lisa and Lexy cannot wait to see what tribe forms around this unique experience of a lifetime!
