Restorative Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing Workshop
Today, we’re so used to living in fast-paced, high-stress environments that we often don’t realize the negative impact they have on our minds, bodies, and behavior.
This workshop is intended to guide each person into a blissful state by stimulating the parasympathetic nervous system (rest and digest).
Restorative yoga allows the body, mind and nervous systems to transition into a state of relaxation by holding supported postures for longer periods of time.
Yoga Nidra is a guided meditation and conscious relaxation practice that is intended to induce total physical, mental, and emotional relaxation.
Sound Healing through the use of gongs, singing bowls, and other over-tone emitting instruments are intended to stimulate brain waves associated with deep meditative and peaceful states, inviting calm, balance, relaxation, and a sense of health and stillness to the mind and body. Combining these 3 powerful practices of Restorative Yoga, Yoga Nidra and Sound Healing together allows each participant to
increase the benefits of stress reduction, improving sleep, connection to a deeper sense of self, and overall well being.
