Ashtanga Yoga taught by Sri K Pattabhi Jois from Mysore, India
Individual Instruction in a group class environment.
This is not a 4 hour class.
Mysore students arrive anytime that works best between 6-10am, leaving time to finish by 10am.
Ashtanga is a set sequence of movements and postures given by instructor over time.
Practice initially is around 20-30 minutes the first couple days.
Each day after as you are given more of the sequence of postures to remember and your practice time will grow to 60-90 minutes over time.
Learn the correct movements, postures, breathing and additional instruction will come gradually over time.
Students practice individually at his or her own pace each guided and observed by teacher.
Students are encouraged to come observe a class for 20-30 minutes to learn more about the traditional style of teaching Ashtanga Yoga “mysore”, pop in anytime.
Friday Led class, all students are led together through the Primary Series of Ashtanga (as suitable for each individual), please arrive early and be ready to start class on time.
