Backbends in yoga are both challenging and exhilarating. They are often the most difficult poses in the asana practice but some of the most powerful. They open our hearts, deepen our breath, both strengthen and create flexibility in the back, energize our minds and bodies and release tension in the hips, back, neck and shoulders. In this workshop, we will address the limitations of pain and fear to move towards deeper expansion and our full potential in all levels of our backbends.
