Every form of yoga has many benefits that go beyond the asana practice. In this gentler approach, teachers use pranayama, repetitive movements synchronized with breath, clear alignment cues in postures to bring the body in balance, to build strength, mental and physical stamina, and increase overall health.


This module will focus on the structure of a gentle class including variations that are helpful to work with all bodies. It will include a comprehensive review of the variety of injuries and helpful modifications along with the use of props to create an accessible class for all students.
