In this workshop we will explore several types of handstands including straight line handstands, handstand splits, handstand with stag legs, and scorpion. In addition to learning the fundamentals behind balancing on the hands, we will explore several strength and flexibility exercises to help prepare the body for handstands, and we will discuss tips and tricks to maintain balance in the middle of the room. Ability to support body weight upside down, or a current practice of the handstand at the wall is required.
