1. Learn the foundations of meditation practice - overview and background. What exactly is mindfulness and what am i doing when i sit down to meditate?
2. Understand and experience the benefits of meditation practice. Time to seep yourself in practice over the weekend so you experience the benefits firsthand in an immersion setting that you can ask questions based on your experience and explore the technique and practice of Samatha (mindfulness) meditation
3. Overview of the Buddhist path and stages of meditation. (includes Mindfulness, Awareness, Contemplation and Compassion practices)
