Arm balances are empowering postures that teach us not only about our physical strength, but also about our innate playfulness, courage, and our ability to create lightness and space.
Want to fly for the first time, or fly longer and stronger? This workshop will build from the ground up to explore the muscle groups, alignment, and breath work that bring the freedom of flight.
We’ll begin with a strong vinyasa sequence designed to fire up the core, open the shoulders, and promote balance. Then we’ll explore a range of arm balances in deeper detail, providing the essentials you need to soar into postures such as bakasana (crow), astavakrasana (eight angle), eka pada galavasana (flying pigeon), and more.
