About Chris

As a practicing scientist and yogi, Chris infuses mindfulness and scientific understanding to guide his students towards balance, clarity, and self-discovery through the practice of yoga and meditation.

In Chris's yoga classes, students are invited to turn inward, follow the breath, and discover how pranayama, asana, and philosophy weave together as a single living practice. His teaching is patient and curious, rooted in classical yoga philosophy and careful attention to alignment, guiding students toward balance, clarity, and self-discovery.

Chris earned his 200-hour certification at Moksha Yoga Amazónica in Peru under Kranti Londhe, Arbely Rubalcava, and Alina Kazandjian. He is currently completing his 300-hour training at Yandara with Christopher Perkins, Kari Schein, and Mercy Ananda, while also pursuing a 200-hour in Yoga Sangraha with Eddie Stern, Robert Moses, and Harshvardhan Jhaveri at YEC. He is additionally certified by David Magone at Down Under Yoga to teach transformational breathwork, meditation, and Yoga Nidra. Chris holds a PhD in organic chemistry from Stanford University.
