Helene Roy

Hélène has been practicing yoga since she moved to New York City from France in 2009. Her classes are rooted in the Ashtanga Vinyasa method as taught in Mysore, India including a strong focus on breath awareness and harmonization of breath and movement. Her classes expand to the 8 limbs of Yoga including chant, pranayama and meditation. Hélène aims for her students to develop a yoga practice that works for their body, resonates with their soul and unlocks the most sublime part of their being.

Hélène completed her 200-hour Yoga Teacher Training at The Shala Yoga House in NYC. She is currently enrolled in the Kaia Yoga 300-hour training program and continues her studies through her regular Ashtanga Yoga practice with Bibi Lorenzetti and Stan Woodman. Hélène is also a certified meditation teacher with the Veda Center and a health coach with IIN. She loves traveling the world and spending time in India with her husband and two children.
