Heather Hayhurst

Make it stand out

Heather is a devoted practitioner and teacher of yoga for over 20 years. She earned a BA in Speech Communications at Penn State University where she was introduced to yoga, philosophy, Buddhism and meditation. Heather received her RYS 200-hour Yoga Certification in 2005 at Atmananda in NYC specializing in Vinyasa Flow with roots in Iyengar, Hatha, and Ashtanga yoga.

She continued studying Tantric Meditation and Ayurveda to make a career in the wellness industry with the goal of helping others achieve their highest potential in health and vitality. Drawing from her training as a 600-hour Health and Wellness Ayurvedic Counselor, Barre Above and Tantric Meditation certifications, Heather approaches her teaching with an emphasis on the interconnectedness of mind, body, and spirit. The style she teaches combines the athleticism and physicality of a strong, challenging Vinyasa practice infused with mindfulness and introspection. Expect powerful and playful rhythmic flows to challenge your balance, strength, and flexibility with breath awareness to bring ease and spaciousness to your mind and body. Her thoughtful sequences encourage you to dance on the mat while connecting to your deepest intention and flow with gratitude and an open, loving heart.
