Kaia Gentle Methodology is a training is designed and developed for any yoga teacher who wants to expand their teaching platform.

Kaia Gentle Methodology applies the Buddhist principles of mindfulness and combines elements of Iyengar, precision and alignment moving with the breath through mindful & intelligent sequencing.

Gentle Yoga isn’t just for older students. It can be beneficial for newer students, anyone coming back after time off, working or recovering from injuries. This interactive program will focus on the structure of a gentle class, including the do's and dont's that are helpful to work with all students. We will discuss and work with props to effectively allow for different variations of poses.

In this method, teachers use simple pranayama, slower paced repetitive movements synchronized with breath, clear and simple alignment cues in postures to bring the body in balance, to build strength, mental and physical stamina, and increase overall health. This approach will leave students feeling more confident in their everyday lives.

What we’ll do & what you’ll learn:

- We will break down the Kaia Yoga Gentle Class
- You will each create and teach your own sequences during the program
- Review adjustments for individual needs
- Learn poses to support injuries

After program homework :

- a written class plan
- 2 in studio class observations
- 2 in studio class assists

Early Bird Rate: $275 | after October 31st $325
