Learn How to Stay Calm, Confident, and In Control Under Pressure

Sports can be intense—physically and mentally.

Mindset & Movement Workshop for Student Athletes with George Garland & Lindsay Potter

This two-hour workshop gives student athletes practical tools to slow down, reset, and stay confident when the pressure is on.

Through a blend of mindset coaching, gentle yoga, mindful movement, and guided rest, athletes learn how their thoughts, breath, and body work together—and how stillness can become a source of strength.

Led by former competitive athletes George Garland, Yoga Instructor and Manager of Teen Programs at Kaia Yoga, and Lindsay Potter, Confidence & Mental Performance Coach for Athletes, this interactive experience is designed specifically for athletes.

This is not a traditional yoga class or a lecture. Athletes will leave with simple, repeatable tools they can use before games, after mistakes, and in high-stress moments—on and off the field.

WORKSHOP DEATILS & BOOKING

Open to student athletes of all levels (Ages 13-18).

No yoga experience required.

Investment: $65

Date & Time: March 28th from 1pm-3pm

Location: Kaia Yoga Greenwich

George Garland is a longtime member of the Kaia community and teaches at our Darien studio. A former competitive athlete himself, George understands firsthand the mental and physical pressures student athletes face — and how powerful the right tools can be.

In this workshop, George blends his background in athletics, yoga, and mental performance to help student athletes build calm, confidence, and resilience — tools they can use on the field, in competition, and in everyday life.

Lindsay Potter,

Confidence & Mental Performance Coach for Athletes

With over 25 years of experience as a competitive athlete and coach, I’ve seen firsthand how many young athletes battle performance pressure without the mental tools to handle it.

I’ve coached youth and high school sports, and I’m also a mom to two teenage athletes, so I deeply understand the emotional rollercoaster that comes with sports.
