Inversion Foundations: A Safe Journey to Upside-Down

Ready to explore the world upside down with Saya Suyama?

In this workshop, you'll be guided through the fundamentals of safe and effective inversions. Whether you're new to inversions or looking to build more confidence, we'll focus on proper alignment, strength-building, and safe entry and exit techniques to help you feel supported every step of the way.

The primary focus will be Supported Headstand and Pincha Mayurasana (Forearm Balance). Expect strength-building drills, progressive exercises, step-by-step instruction, and personalized guidance to help you develop a safe, sustainable inversion practice.

Who is this for?

This workshop is ideal for students who are new to inversions or have been hesitant to practice them. If you've ever wondered where to start or want to refine your technique in a supportive environment, this workshop will give you the tools, confidence, and foundation to practice safely.

Inversions Done Safely

After experiencing an injury from unsafe inversion practices, Saya became passionate about teaching students how to approach these poses with proper alignment and mindful progression. For her, yoga is not just about poses, but about coming home and finding freedom within.
